★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pastelaria Amêndoa Doce is the centre of the known universe. Nuno and his crew are welcoming, friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. The prices for food and drink are incredibly low, but the quality is high. I don't know how they do it. If you just visit one little roadside cafe in Portugal, make sure it's this one. You won't be disappointed.

Located on a few minutes from the Old Town it is the Perfect Place to watch the evening sun go down and Sip one of Nuno’s legendary Gin & Tonics. Not to be missed !
