★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a pretty place inside and out, with nice views,good service, formal service, but not stuffy, wide selection of traditional dinners and desserts, good wine list, wide variety of traditional, delicious offerings. In the back is a small inclosed, quasi Oriental garden patio/dining area. A little pricey, but well worth it.

Right now the bell of the church across the restaurant is ringing... Very romantic and charming :). I'll come many times again...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is possibly my favorite restaurant in all of Portugal. Low-key, elegant, and very much a hidden gem in Ponte de Lima. The starters were fantastic: I got a cheese with bread, perfectly-grilled (or roasted?) shishito peppers, lightly-fried sardines. All were perfect. I also got a local vinho verde that literally had a picture of the Ponte de Lima on the wine label and it was delicious. The entrees were less of a hit but I don't blame that on the restaurant. We got two different cod entrees which turned out to be too much cod in one sitting. I would recommend getting one cod dish to share, or diversifying the orders at the table a bit by maybe getting the veal, which also looked excellent. Be warned that the entrees (even the ones that are meant for one person) are gigantic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Little restaurant with an nice terrasse on a quiet square and in the shadow (ideal during the hot summer). It is on the other side of the river compared too the busy city center. So if you are looking for a nice quiet place to eat in Ponte de Lima, this is the place. It has traditional, regional dishes and a good wine list. We got tiras de porco with potatoes and cabbage. The pork is grilled over fire and that's it. It's simple but very well done. It showcases the quality of the ingredient and it's simply very good. We also had melon with presunto as starter and half a bottle of wine (the wine was on the expensive side of their menu). Both the starter and the wine were very good. For two people we paid 46€. It's a good quality price ratio. I really enjoyed my lunch and I strongly recommend.
