J	Jose MR on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place, rustic style decorations. Worth a visit. Terrace with Very very beautiful view. Good restaurant, everything we asked was delicious. Only downside was a clever staff that suggested a 'special' wine that was not in the menu and charged 50 euros. Turned out that wine was in many supermarkets for 6 euros.

N	Nixa Lavrador on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In winter and raining, is still a very cosy place to spend 2 relaxed days in Gerês. Food is delicious (coffee is okeyish) people are attentive. Real fireplace. The halls and living room are a little cold, but the room is super comfortable. With warm bath and a big bed. The mattresse is hard, but I woke up feeling restored, so it's good!

Because it is an older inn, there was no central air conditioning. There was a wall mounted unit for the bedroom and a heat lamp for the bathroom. However, the windows and bathroom facilities were upgraded. The bar area above the restaurant were great for watching TV and hanging out and probably has the best view of the lake. The wood burning fireplace also added to the coziness. I personally found the dinner and breakfast to be good and had a good nights sleep. 4.5 stars rounded up to 5 because I liked the intimate feeling that this older inn provides where I could meander my way down the hall for meals or drinks while enjoying the killer view.
