Amazing view, delicious breakfast, absolutely friendly, hospitable landlady

Lovely place to stay, amazing views of the valley, great pool, very friendly and accomadating owner, comfy bed, kid friendly ..... would definitely recommend to stay here

Beautiful place to stay with great view to lake and the valley, very quiet, with swimming pool. Great village atmosphere.

Paula the owner is fantastic and hospitable. The rooms were cleaned and the suite has a pristine view of the river and mountains. Would recommend it!

This is a magical place, with spectacular views, comfy rooms and a lovely family that run it. The slightly more expensive suite is worth every penny for the incredible private vistas of the valley and lake, it is still excellent value with a lovely breakfast included. There are three new rooms in a little converted stone house on the edge of the land which will also benefit from amazing views. This would be a fabulous option for a group of 6. Thank you to the lovely family and we hope to be back with friends!

What an unbelievable place. The view from the suite is incredible and one of its kind. We only stayed one night and loved every second of it. The owners are very friendly besides the younger lady that screamed at us that we brought our child and had not selected it in the booking.com overview(he does not need an extra bed and booking.com had recommended to book 2 suites). She called our behaviour “illegal” & said “don’t do this again” repeatedly. I would recommend her to take a deep(!) breath and relax. As you can see from the booking she let us stay anyhow as an “exception” but kept rubbing it into us that it was “illegal behaviour”. Needless to say, I checked it again afterwards on booking.com and it’s totally possible to book in with a child into the suite (1 adult, 1 child (any age)) totally goes through as a booking for the suites. I accept that they might have occupancy policies aka max 2 people of any age in the room. However this does not permit you to greet paying guests that way. Unbelievable really especially because Portugal is so child friendly and on our road trip from South to North it has not been a problem in any hotel (budget to 5 star). The other staff at breakfast were soooo lovely. They were infatuated by our child and couldn’t do enough for us. And dine @ the close by restaurant. Super tasty food. We would have stayed an extra night if they had availability!

The most amazing ‘room with a view’ you can imagine. We were amazed by the room and the entire farm - such a beautiful place. The family was extremely nice and helpful. Must visit when you are in the area!

Amazing location with the best views of the area. Clean and spacious room with balcony, perfect to enjoy a nice wine with a view. (we had the junior suite) great hosts, very kind and hospitable. Here, I had the best steak ever, highly recommended to book a dinner at their restaurant.
