PT - PROJETO ROTAS DE MAÇÃO PR7-MAC-ROTA CASAS DA RIBEIRA/CARATÃO O pego das Hortas é um local situado nas Ribeira de Eiras, a cerca de 500 metros a montante da ponte rodoviária desta aldeia. O mesmo foi contruído pelos locais, visando a criação de um pequeno açude de onde se iniciava a antiga Levada de transporte de água pelo vale. Para lá dos lagares, junto á aldeia, todos os campos de cultivo, beneficiavam deste canal. The same was built by locals, aiming to create a small dam from where the old Levada to transport water through the valley began. Beyond the olive presses near the village, all the cultivated fields benefited from this canal.
