★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Personally, i find this my favourite beach in the Albufeira area. The sand is glorious white and fine. The best thing is that it is always clear of sea weed, even after a storm. The doughnut people pass by often enough to keep hunger at bay and sometimes the waves are highly envigorating. I really recommend this beach.

We would not let the kids in the water without an adult as the waves where breaking fast and furious.. Great place for building sand castles. Lifeguards are on duty, also there are sunbeds and umbrellas available to hire

Surfing is good all year around
Summer surf is great for kids vand beginners and winter big and strong waves makes the advance surfers test their skills
