★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible experience... I ended up having to find a alternative accommodation for the night in S. Pedro do Sul.
I booked a room through Booking.com with the filter of Pets Allowed and completed the reservation with a clear indication on the form that pets were indeed allowed something I have done with success several times on Booking.
This time upon arrival I was told by the owner that my dog would have to be lodged in a locked kennel outside as Pets were not allowed in the premises. I have an epileptic senior dog that has to be under permanent surveillance and this solution is obviously not adequate for my situation.
While the owner was communicating me this they had an off leash large dog on the property that attacked my dog that was with her leash on. The owner did nothing to stop his dog from attacking mine and when I went to pull it apart from my dog he warned me to be careful as his dog would bite people.
After this I just tried to keep his dog apart from mine as I tried to reach my car to leave and had to find a different accommodation for the nigh.
Worst experience I ever had regarding accommodation....
