★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent 2 days at Quinta da Pacheca on a getaway with my boyfriend and we had a truly amazing stay.
The property is stunning and well kept and surrounded by beautiful vineyards and great views over the Douro River.
We stayed at the Wine barrels and we loved how cute and unique they are.
The rooms have an outdoor area perfect to relax and enjoy the complimentary Port wine overlooking the vineyards just before sunset.
We had dinner at the restaurant both nights and the food was delicious. It was a perfect balance of Portuguese and International cuisine that went perfectly with the wine from Quinta da Pacheca.
If you are a wine lover or looking for a different experience in one of the most beautiful regions in Portugal, Quinta da Pacheca is a must.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed for a honeymoon in this property. The service is excellent, room is very clean. We also got a complimentary wine tasting session. But my favourite is summer spa, overlooking all the vineyard and it is very romantic!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped here for lunch on way back to airport. Wish we had found it sooner. The restaurant served lovely local Portuguese food. It had an amazing view over the vines and a good tasting bar to stop and try a few as well.

The winery tour was informative and and our guide was great! We had a lovely tasting of some excellent wine and port. Worth a visit for sure!

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, but we have yet to receive any information regarding the order of wine and olive oil we placed three weeks ago. If there is something wrong with the order, it would be nice to know. We emailed the hotel, no response. When we try to contact the hotel, it takes several times of calling to get someone on the phone. When we do, they don't seem to care about the issue. One staff member did give us the name and number of the person responsible for shipping the wine/oil, Ricardo Santos, but we have called multiple times and he never answers. When we called the hotel again, the person took our name and email address and said Ricardo would email us the same day...and of course, we received nothing. So sure, stay at the hotel, but DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM unless you can take it with you then.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I stayed here during Thanksgiving week and we were blown away by the hospitality of this hotel! We stayed at the wine barrels for one night and at the wine hotel for 2 nights and we loved every second of it! This is probably the most beautiful vineyard I have seen and I’ve done my share of traveling the world. I cannot wait to be back with my family! Great job Quinta da Pacheca!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent a night at the Quinta da Pacheca and had a very pleasant time. The hotel itself has a tasteful mix of new build around older buildings. In terms of location, the Quinta is right in a bend on the Douro, surrounded by vineyards. We stayed in the new rooms (the old rooms were under renovation). The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The restaurant was very good. The service was friendly and attentive. I was struck by how quiet it was. Even though there are some event spaces and the night we stayed there was a large party with music - surprisingly there was little or no noise leaking into the rest of the hotel.
