★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A quinta da Veiga ocupa um local absolutamente magnífico, com uma vista privilegiada para o Douro. Tem apenas 8 quartos por isso é mais uma casa de Hóspedes. Possui uma decoração eclética que respeita a traça do edifício antigo. O atendimento é bom e recomendo que se reserve jantar ( não servem ao almoço ) , uma vez que não há nada perto. O pequeno almoço é ótimo e com produtos regionais, tal como psra o jantar. O único senão é não ter um bar para tomar uma bebida ou comer algo, o que obriga a sair da Quinta para almoçar. Do resto, o quarto é espaçoso e bem equipado. Recomendo a experiência pela calma e pela paisagem deslumbrante. Nota: o acesso à Quinta faz se por uma pequena estrada muito sinuosa mas é alcatroada... e só dá para passar um automóvel.
 Quinta da Veiga occupies an absolutely magnificent place, with a privileged view to the Douro. It has only 8 rooms so it is more of a guest house. It has an eclectic decoration that respects the moth of the old building. The service is good and I recommend that you book dinner (they do not serve lunch), since there is nothing close. Breakfast is great and with regional products just like dinner. The only drawback is not having a bar for a drink or something to eat, which forces you to leave the Quinta for lunch. From the rest, the room is spacious and well equipped. I recommend the experience for calm and breathtaking scenery. Note: access to the Quinta is by a very winding little road but is paved ... and you can only drive a car.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amei esse lugar, bom atendimento. Sr Francisco uma excelente pessoa, simpática deixa as pessoas a vontade no recinto. Ainda tem um bom pequeno almoço delicioso. . Quero volta em breve.
I loved this place, good service. Mr Francisco is an excellent person, friendly, he makes people comfortable on the premises. It still has a good delicious breakfast. . I want to come back soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vil du have fred og ro, så finder du det her. Placeret langt væk fra alt, så man skal have bil, og gode nerver til at køre på smalle veje, med en god udsigt over Doura dalen. Store værelser men madrasserne er hårde. Wi-Fi er langsom, og benytter forældet sikkerhed (WEP). Pool var beskidt og ikke til at bruge. Vi var de eneste på stedet i de første 2 dage, så der var fred og ro. Prøv deres aftensmad, det er bestemt en god overraskelse, lokale råvarer og lokal vin.
If you want peace and quiet, you will find it here. Located far away from everything, so you have to have a car, and good nerves to drive on narrow roads, with a good view of the Doura valley. Large rooms but the mattresses are hard. Wi-Fi is slow and uses outdated security (WEP). Pool was dirty and not to use. We were the only ones on site for the first 2 days so there was peace and quiet. Try their dinner, it's definitely a good surprise, local produce and local wine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its a beautiful homestead in a stunning location with breathtaking views. The rooms are air conditioned, beds comfortable and service fantastic.
The pool has amazing views and is definitely needed in summer and its only a 25 minute drive to Pinhao and the wineries.
Dinners are delicious and their wine is fantastic. I definitely recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is kinda in the middle of nowhere, so be prepared to use 30 minutes to reach the closest city nearby. The rooms are good and the view over the Douro valley is amazing.
The pool is terrible, seems like it hasn't been cleaned for a very long time. Breakfast is a little boring, but acceptable for one or two days.
