★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely rooms, excellent breakfast, dedicated parking, and helpful check-in.
The gentleman working on Saturday and Sunday evening was fantastic. He helped with our travel plans and made me a glass of hot water for tea and delivered it to our room unexpectedly. So kind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ had a very enjoyable stay at the Quinta das Murtas. The hotel is situated in a convenient location. If you prefer to walk, it is only 12 minutes to the center of the city and 10 min to the train station. You have to remember you are in Portugal, so it will not be a straight road it will be hills that you will be going up and down. It was fine for me as I like to walk. The hotel has 4 wonderful birds, 2 macaws and 2 cockatoos. I enjoyed watching these beautiful birds.
The front desk staff is amazing, very professional, and knowledgeable. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent, and a great way to start the day before touring the city. The hotel was originally built as a wedding gift for the daughter whose future husband had a royal background. I felt like a princess staying in this hotel. I had a wonderful room, and felt very welcome in this hotel. When I return to Sintra, I will again stay in this hotel.

The garden, the nature, the clima.
The staff is very nice, calm & helpfull.
The mattress was not so great, bad sliped. In the room, cosy & clean but bad smell.
Breakfast = just ok, no even 1 vegetable and bad coffee.
For the price we have paid, was more than ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magic at first sight!!!! We stayed in one of the charming apartments by the little lake. Woke up in the morning and opened the curtains to an absolutely romantic, bucolic view of the luscious greenery, beautiful property. Incredibly relaxing. Sumptuous breakfast and nice staff. Will be back!

Reception and check-in was easy and we were treated very well by the manager
We had a large, clean room in the annex with nice view of the valley and sea
The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable
Free on-site parking was included in the price
The hotel is pet friendly and the manager even waived the €10 pet fee
The breakfast was very nice with plenty of hot coffee, scrambled eggs, hams, cheeses, sausage and fresh breads, yogurt, cakes and jams
Quinta Das Murtas was an outstanding value for the price we paid - €63 including breakfast for two people and our dog ... HOOAH!
CONS
Had to be moved because WiFi signal was too weak in the first room - room #3 upstairs is too far from the router

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice location located only few minutes walking distance from Sintra Vila. Bus stop to Palacio Pena nearby. Rooms have been a little cold but the bedroom has a AC /heating device. Breakfast buffet middle standard. Parking lot for free.

Everything was clean.
The breakfast had vegan options (nut milk, butter and yogurt), lactose free milk, lots of fruits and pastries. Overall good, just missed the strong coffee..
The bed was a problem, the mattress was too soft, woke up with a very sore back..
The landscape is beautiful, amazing view through the mountain and surrounded by greenery. The decorations of the building are perfectly matched with the surroundings.
