S	Stephen Bieda on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful wine touring experience! The landscape and the winery itself are gorgeous. The service was exceptionally good as well. We did not get to do the tour as we did not book in time but we were able to do a tasting which was lovely. For 5 EU person we opted to walk the vineyard. We got these great Quinta do Bomfim hats and a water bottle. Half way through the hike through the vineyard there is a rest stop building where we were able to refill our water bottles. It is a fairly rugged hike up the steeply terraced property so the water and the refill were necessary give the 34 C temps of the day.

Staff give professional advice on Port wine selection. Very friendly and warm. Highly recommended if you came by train and would like to get an quick understanding on Port wine as well as enjoy the view of the Douro valley.

Great variety of Wine tasting menu and it really change my mind on Portuguese wine. They have really good red one here in a good price.

Expensive, but fairly priced for what they are and what you get. BUT, and I didn't realize this at the time, I think you can still enter and walk around the vineyards and buy tastes or glasses of the wines without purchasing the tour.
S	Siarhei Keller on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The uniqueness of the porto wines and especially the history behind it makes my head immune to this type of drink. Good way to spend 4 hours trying different strains (if you know what I mean). Would recommend to a friend. Also staff are humans. Not robots.

Marta was our guide and she was fun and knowledgeable about the whole process and history of the winery and how port is made. She also helped us with a lunch recommendation and reservation. She truly went above and beyond and made our visit a memorable one. They provide the best quality wines and ports for the tasting too. Make sure to reserve at least a day in advance and don't miss Quinta do Bomfim during your Douro Valley visit.

The tour was short, informative but nothing special. After that there was a tasting but you were not allowed to try until the guide finished talking about it. The portions were very small and we felt very underwhelmed by the experience. If was definitely NOT worth €42. There was also a referbuishment going on which really took away from the experience. It was dusty, messy and just not nice ... We let staff know about the disappointment we had and she agreed but didn't offer any reimbursement.
