Obrigada ao Sérgio que nos deu a conhecer todo o processo, as castas e a história da Quinta e à Celeste e Sr. António pelo belo repasto, sempre bem regado. As crianças adoraram e foi um óptimo programa em família. Excellent afternoon. Farm with great human, cultural and natural heritage that shares its history and knowledge for making and drinking wine. A fantastic welcome. Wine tasting and dinner overlooking the vineyard and the Serra da Estrela. Thanks to Sérgio, who let us know the whole process, the grape varieties and the history of Quinta and to Celeste and Sr. António for the beautiful meal, always well watered. The kids loved it and it was a great family program.

This is not your average wine tasting experience, you will meet people that care and live the real Dão and share their enthusiasm with their guests. And, on top of that, you will taste some great wine from Dão! An amazing experience all around.

We were given a short tour and a full tasting with whatever wines we wanted to try. We brought more than what we tasted so we didn't feel guilty but we weren't charged for the tasting or tour which you can expect with a lot of the other producers in the area. It's a family-run busines and you can tell. For some, like us, this is good. For others, it could be a little frustrating. The wines themselves were rather good as a lot of the Dão wines are. We especially enjoyed the Reserva Tinto, a Touriga Nacional and the Encruzado. Only let down was having to use Google Translate for our host who didn't speak a word of English. This is okay, as we should be speaking Portuguese while in Portugal but we needed Translate to have a full conversation and to ask detailed questions. The cellar door is a bit of an afterthought and I feel they are missing a trick here. It has bags of potential to turn it into something of an experience with multi-lingual hosts. Still, we had a great time and were properly looked after. Can recommend.
