★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We only visited one quinta in the Dao region.... Dos Roques, because our experience there was all we needed. We were warmly greeted and given a super informative tour by one of the 4th generation owners. We tasted some great wines and left very happy. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wines were great, and José gave an excellent history of the wine making. He even went out of his way to suggest restaurants and other good wineries. Book ahead of time.

Excellent informative tour of their facilities, history and philosophy, followed by a great tasting of 7 wines, both white and red, various different blends and single varietal wines to show the story. Was fantastic that Jose' one of the third generation owners was able to deliver a very personal message. We are from Australia and English was perfect. Would recommend this to anyone passionate about wine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic, amazing wines and ambiance. This was one of the most memorable wine tastings I have ever done. Luis explained the wine, vintage and the region. This was my first trip to the Dão region and it was superb. I will be back!
