★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beach in the center of Portugal. This was the first urban beach in the interior of Portugal. It is a nice place where you can feel the sand (brought from a real beach by the sea) and dive in a huge swimming pool disguised as an ocean. It is the place of concerts and one of the nightlife spots with bars and restaurants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All ok apart of the food. Food was low quality. The Restaurant is the weakest link here, no clear instructions on how it works, food is low quality, price a bit exaggerated for the low quality.
Other than that, the place is very good, we loved the day we spent there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mangualde Beach saves us a really long drive, due to covid there are plots marked out on the beach so you get your own space. The swimming pool is perfect for kids there are places to get drinks and food.
The food was good, I didn't expect much because it's fast food like burgers and hotdogs. I had the bitoque, it was so good! Much better than I expected the sauce was so good! The portion was generous and for the 4 of us to eat it was under €30 I thought it would be more because its a popular destination.
I highly recommend for a good day out, especially if you have children, you can save pennies by bringing your own picnic. If you want a day at the beach, arrive early, it's popular and fills up fast!
