★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rapidez na decisão sobre reparação, contudo, muito caro só para dar orçamento 50,00. Comprei um tablet em maio 2014 em Dezembro 2016, avaria e pedem 700, 00 para reparar., isto depois de avariar 2 vezes nos 2 anos de garantia.

Quick decision to repair, however, too expensive just to give 50.00 budget. Bought a tablet in May 2014 in December 2016, malfunction and ask 700, 00 to repair., This after malfunctioning 2 times in the 2 years warranty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Profissionalmente tenho de usar e manter umas vetustas máquinas com portas RS232 e compatíveis com 16/32 bits. 20 anos depois só resistem as da marca Toshiba...e estes senhores são instrumentais para que tal assim se mantenha! Super profissionais, não falham no que se comprometem. Recomendo vivamente!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ a 11 de Agosto de 2016 entreguei portátil Toshiba para reparação ao abrigo da garantia e dentro do prazo da mesma. Foram relatadas 3 avarias: 1- inoperabilidade da drive óptica 2- presença, em cerca de 30% do ecran, de linhas geradas por mau contacto entre pontos de ligação internos e o ecran 3- pequena mancha branca causada por pressão exercida no ecran por defeito de fabrico do teclado quando o portátil se encontra fechado. Passado uma semana fui contactado pela empresa e indicaram que as avarias do ecran não estavam ao abrigo da garantia. Questionei porquê e até à data não me foi dada uma resposta plausível e passados 6 meses ainda não tenho ainda o equipamento comigo. A situação actualmente encontra-se em litígio com o apoio da DECO e Direcção Geral do Consumidor.
On 11th August 2016 I delivered Toshiba notebook for warranty repair and on time. Three malfunctions have been reported: 1- optical drive inoperability 2- presence of approximately 30% of the screen of lines generated by poor contact between internal connection points and the screen 3- small white spot caused by pressure on the default screen keyboard when the notebook is closed. A week later I was contacted by the company and indicated that the screen malfunctions were not under warranty. I wondered why and so far I have not been given a plausible answer and after 6 months I still don't have the equipment with me yet. The situation is currently in dispute with the support of DECO and the Consumer Directorate General.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Toshiba used to be my favorite brand for laptops (just because IBM wasn't on this market anymore).
Now, after owning 2 laptops from Toshiba, I regret that. Big time !!!
The "last drop" was when I opened my 2nd laptop to use it, some of the plastics that hold the screen (close to the hinges), opened up and broke.
What caused it? Well... Looks like Toshiba laptops like to drop screws from time to time. At that time, the laptop only had about 30% of the screws. (Yes, I got "screwed")
I have to say that normally I don't check if there are any screws missing. Do you regularly check for screws that fall from your car, for example?
The laptop was on warranty (at the very right end, but still on warranty), and Toshiba refused (more than once) to assume the repair cost, stating a "physical damage".
Indeed it has a "physical damage", but I would understand that if I had dropped it, or caused any harm to it, which did not occur !
Well... Toshiba for me, NEVER AGAIN !!!
Now using a LENOVO (ex-IBM), and will keep an eye on ASUS.
