Visited RARE Steakhouse on our 1st day in Vilamoura. On entering this busy restaurant we were met by our host at the door who showed us to our table overlooking the kitchen area. It was busy but relaxed and quite enjoyable to view excellent chefs working in a calm environment. Definitely not Gordon Ramsay! Our waiter for the evening Daniel was very informative on the menu. We ordered the rib eye and fillet steak. Service was excellent and food brilliant. Really enjoyable evening

G	GARY CRONIN on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good spot, staff are very attentive. Expensive, but that's expected given where they are located. Rib Eye and Fillet steaks were phenomenal, Rump was very disappointing. Worth a visit, but book a table in advance as you may have to wait.

We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is into a good slice of meat with good whine. Price 4/5 Service 4/5 Taste 5/5 Drinks 5/5 We are coming back for you.

The octopus was really good but as a steakhouse I expected way more from the meats. It was tender and juicy yet underseasoned and the fillet was quite chewy. The views were great and I enjoyed the service thoroughly, the location, prices and menu were all 5 stars, but the food didn't reach expectations therefore a 4 star is more than deserved. Pro tip for the waiters - lead with the aged steak menu before anything else!

D	Diogo Vermelho on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to eat some matured meat with a nice view over the Vilamoura marine. The staff is friendly and the food is great. You can also choose from a good selection of Portuguese wines. It's a bit overpriced, but the service leads.

Especially the burger was tasteless and the bread as well as the meat very dry. Staff said, that they currently have a problem with their burgers?! Steak was ok, not great. Sides (spinach, mashed) were good. We will not come back.
S	Sn D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had a great meal to celebrate my son’s birthday. I think this is the best meal I’ve had in Vilamoura in the 20 years I’ve been visiting. We had bread, tiger prawns and chorizo to start, followed by a rib-eye, a fillet and a picanha with a selection of sides and a great bottle of Portuguese Dao. Now I’ve read some pretty dodgy reviews on here and on TripAdvisor and all I can think is that they were very unlucky or maybe just confused. We went at 7pm on Saturday and had booked a table. They were busy. We were not rushed, the service was excellent and the food was top class. Perfectly cooked, well seasoned and we were all well satisfied. Fabulous evening. Highly recommended.

The waiters are very attentive and on the ball. The steak was done exactly how i asked (med- rare) perfectly. The green beans in garlic are so good! Must try! Recommended ?
