The food is good enough, however, I found eggshells in a cake once, not even an apology, offer for exchange or even a discount offered.
Always bringing the couvert even though I have been there a million times and never ever had it).
Today the fish was not properly cooked, not an apology, a sorry, or anything to make it better, funny enough it's always been the older waiter as the younger ones and much nicer so I assume he must own the pmace or else I don't ubderstand why he is allowed to act like this as if its OK to. Making mistakes happens as its to say sorry but here seems like they are above it all. Specially customers.
Rude and annoying, you lost a customer now, cheers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great traditional Portuguese food. I tried the best seafood (camarão) soup ever. I highly recommend you trying this. We also had the pate and the roudabalo, which was great too. We got that excited with the food that we jumped into the desserts expecting great homemade ones as the previous food we had tried. That’s was a mistake. Desserts were so-so and though they say they are homemade they’re clearly not (could taste it but on top of that I saw the guy opening the industrial cane before serving them to us).
Generally speaking is a great restaurant where you will enjoy fish and seafood-based dishes but I thought it was a bit expensive at the end.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visit a few times a year, for many years now, when we are in the area, and A Carula never disappoints. The fish is very fresh, beautifully prepared, and impeccably served. They are flexible with side dish requests, have a nice list of wines, and the staff are professional and very pleasant. I highly recommend a visit.
