Amazing food. Seafood was so fresh and flavoursome. Pictured is the sardines entree and baby squid main. Very reasonably priced and the staff were so friendly. I would definitely go back!

Excellent spot for a relaxed dinner, lovely atmosphere, cute decor, extremely friendly staff and great food. Tried the prawns and the fried sardines for starters with bread and some spreads. The homemade fish spread with chillies, onions and peppers was amazing by the way. Fried sardines were probably the tastiest fish I'd ever had! For mains, don't just stick to the English options on the menu. One of the first pages has the weekly 'special menu's in Portuguese - the waitress very kindly explained all the options to us. I tried the grouper fish which was her recommendation, and my brother's had some steaks. My grouper was excellent - they removed the bones for me, and it was obviously fresh. The steaks were cooked to perfection and they put together a red wine sauce on request. Definitely have desert. I tried the 'bolo da bolacha' which in English is translated 'cookies cake'. Wow. It was a cross between a tiramisu/biscuit pudding/layer cake and it was divine! I'll be recommending to anyone who visits Albufeira!

Superb food warm and welcoming staff and great atmosphere this restaurant is a gem set back from the main road.are taxi driver took us to here when we asked for a recommendation for somewhere that served authentic Portuguese food when the restaurant we were going to was closed. So glad he did .I had the monkfish with prawns and rice this is one of the best meals out I’ve ever had and the prices were remarkably low. Don’t miss this restaurant if in Albufeira.

Worth a visit, not as bad as it looks from the outside. Gosh looks can be deceiving. I was about to make a U-turn when we walked over to Beira. Uninspiring and it looks like a tourist trap from the outside. But, if you’re reading the reviews, let me tell you it’s a good place. Solid food, seems fresh and it delicious. We started off with some bread, butter and sardine pâté. We had hoped the sardine page would be fresh, but it was a small cup of pate, unfortunately. For starters and dinner. We had Some Great tasty oven baked squid, they could’ve cleaned it a bit better and should have removed all the entrails from inside the body including its plastic bone. The chicken Piri piri was Delish, the accompanying fries were a bit uninspiring and tasted like oven fries. We also had the lamb chops, they were also delish. Perfectly grilled. The reviews so far seems solid. Staff was friendly and all speak English. We would def go again. It’s a great place for tasty food.

Beautiful restaurant heavily frequented by locals which is always a good sign. Friendly staff and fab prices. Good quality food with good portions. Steep slope down to it as tucked away off the street. Large and airy with an aged rustic feel. Highly recommend. Great 2 course tourist menu...
