★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely brilliant experience at Columbo the minute you walk through the door you are made to feel so welcome, the food is amazing the coverts , starters , main course , beef stroganoff to die for . Honestly if you don’t visit this restaurant in vilamoura you are certainly missing out on an excellent dining experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very Impressed following a change in ownership. Not sure when that happened. We had a very good meal, lamb chops & rib eye steak. Cooked to our order and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. To be fair the steak tasted great. We had been here previously a few years ago and felt the menu was dated. But looks like the change in ownership has worked wonders. The steak/chops came with nice looking chips in a metal basket and a lightly grilled veg selection. We were treated to a port and brandy at the end of the meal. The traditional setting inside might put some people off as it's quite dark. Hopefully they might do something with that in the future. Don't let it put you off, well worth a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice main courses, veg lasagna was nice and my SO enjoyed her fish. Deserts not as good, bit 90s. Staff were friendly, tho service maybe a little confused.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fantastic. We definitely go back. Had dinner here with my family and the food was delicious, for this type of restaurant, we thought that was going to be expensive and it wasn't. Try the calamari and the Madeira Kebab !
