Abrimos este restaurante numa das travessas mais antigas de Mafra mesmo de frente ao Palácio Nacional, com o nome de ''Escondidinho’’ porque este está realmente escondido e o seu nome já vem de algumas gerações mais exatamente 1943, disponibilizando assim um espaço, com um design simples e acolhedor, que convida todos os Clientes a uma experiência de paladar desde outubro de 2009. Dentro a música e a calma preparam o espírito para uma refeição que se quer tomada devagar. Apesar de já contarmos com experiência no ramo, quisemos inovar numa ementa diferente das que já existiam na zona, com duas salas separadas e WI-FI gratuito. Os fãs de francesinhas podem contar com quatro variedades e o Kebab confecionado artesanalmente que lhe confere um paladar único e fumado, mas também podem escolher entre, bacalhau com natas, medalhões de frango, variedade bifes e pratos vegetarianos, sempre servidos com um sorriso. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a vegan I must say that it is hard to find a place like this when you are not looking for the typical vegan restaurant.
The staff is polite and cheerful and the environment is quite alright.
What surprised me the most ware the vegan choices they present. The vegan or vegetarian version of francesinha whitch is a well known traditional dish from the north of Portugal and several other choices are very well prepared and tasty.

All the food that we ordered was very good. Tasty. The Francesinha was so good. One was the bests that I have eaten.
Very friendly staff.
