Tomamos para acompanhar um vinho regiao Douro esteve optimo preco qualidade, mas devo recomendar o vinha da casa que mais tarde tivemos oportonidade de provar e supreendeu-nos novamente.
O caminho para o rest. pouco inclidado no coracao do Douro tem umas vistas de brutais. Agradeco toda a atencao do Sr. que nos serviu, voltaremos sempre que possivel. Orbigado
I visited Restaurante O Tonel with 3 immigrant friends and we were all super impressed. The food was excellent including the homemade subremsas. We took it to accompany a wine from the Douro region, it was excellent price and quality, but I must recommend the house vineyard that later we had the opportunity to taste and surprised us again.
The way to the rest. slightly inclined in the heart of the Douro, it has some brutal views. I appreciate all the attention of Mr. that served us, we will return whenever possible. Orbigado

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fomos lá almoçar pois estávamos de passagem pela região. O espaço é asseado e bem organizado. A decoração fantástica. A comida caseira e deliciosa. E o atendimento rápido e muito simpático. Para um dia de semana estava bastante movimentado. Não há um parque de estacionamento próprio, devido à localização, mas consegue-se estacionar por perto. A vista é deslumbrante! Tenho pena de não poder voltar tão cedo.
We went there for lunch as we were passing through the region. The space is clean and well organized. Fantastic decor. Homemade and delicious food. And the service was fast and very friendly. For a weekday it was quite busy. There is no car park of its own, due to the location, but you can park close by. The view is stunning! I'm sorry I can't come back so soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food. Good price. Veal plate was €16 for 4 pieces of decent size, soft and tender, with light tomato sauce. Pork plate came with 2 big pieces of marinated pork for €9. Both come with fried, a plate of salad, and favor rice. We stopped by on Tuesday at 1336. That was what on the menu. It was the menu. Frankly, 2 plates was enough for 4 people. Starter was a plate of sauted mushroom for €7. Tasted very good, great compliment to the pork.
