Especially in love with the seafood rice (arroz de marisco) but to be honest it's seafood with a tiny bit of rice. Also try sardines (during the season) and just grilled fish - this is what this place is for!
N	Nina Nevorotova on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came for rally fish festival today ( we are going to eat there more than 1 year), and ( compare to all the places participating in the fest) what they offered for the rally fish - fish soup ( actually half of the soup) and wine ( actually half of the glass) are very poor proposal. IMHO it’s shame for such a famous place. Besides of that we ordered lulas ( squid) on grill,and they were not cleaned ( so squids had their hard part not possible and dangerous to eat)!

The Octopus salad was exquisite, and the sardines, garlic shrimp and side of potatoes were deliciously prepared as well! Recommended for a satisfying dinner after a sunset walk by the ocean.
D	Dragana Radisic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great fresh fish ! Sea bass or dorada grilled with sea salt - perfect ! You can order any side dish on side with additional charges. Friendly staff. They have outside garden that is next to the entrance of the restaurant and road. Will come again definitely.

As like all the other restaurants in this street, they cook the fish on the grill outside, which is very cool to see! The Place inside is fancy, and quality of food is great! Fish was awesome, vinho Verde as well, the bread was amazing... everything was very very good. I recommend the burned cream as a dessert. For the price, expect not to pay a small amount, as fish is costly, but it's really worth it.

Asked chef to recommend an entree and he came back with three different fish. Had Grilled Turbot that was expertly filleted at table. Creme Brûlée was amazing too. Worth the trip to Matoshinhos. We will be back!

We are first time visitors to Porto and like all tourists were advised to visit the market in Matosinhos and eat fish! We picked O Valentim because I liked the look for the outdoor grilling team! Perhaps the best meal we've had in Portugal after 2 months here. Attentive and helpful waiter. Fish excellently filleted at the table. My husband had sole, I had turbot. Lovely rose wine. We will be back. Ubrigada!
