★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After 25 years it still remains one of the best places I love! Awesome fish at a reasonable price, cooked with a mother love and a family that keeps the same joy in serving. Small, not fancy but totally unforgettable. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. Not a problem, the server told us "too much!" We settled on a couple of grilled fish and a couple of side dishes. Everything was delicious and authentic FRESH seafood. A perfect white wine to accompany this and an atmosphere of a secret restaurant that only locals know about. Definitely will return on next visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were served sea-bass that was caught that morning! They even brought 2 fish out for us to pick from. Food was amazing, and for the price you can't beat it! We got the grilled sardines and sea bass that came with delicious potatoes and veggies, and a small bottle of wine. Our bill was €28!

"Caldo verde" soup is really tasty, the "sardinhas pequenas" fish were really grilled and good, and the fried potatoes were really homemade and nice, salad was also fresh, not much but fresh
The space is small, it remembers me the old typical Portuguese restaurantes by sea side. I would give 4.5* but maps only have 4 or 5 xD

I was initially expecting it to be an average place to eat but was pleasantly surprised when it was the best food in Porto. Nothing but positive things to say, I also gave them a good tip for such a great place. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very (very!) traditional place where to eat fish in matosinhos. This place is run by a couple and (i guess) their son, it's small but offers a great variety of fish which is cooked amazingly according to Portuguese recipes. Fish is very fresh (besides, the restaurant is in front of the ocean), and you get it in not so fancy dishes, a sing of the fact that this is a good place to get traditional stuff. Prices are okay, considering that fish isn't cheap anyway. Go there and have a taste of Portugal!
