Waited ages to be seated, so seated ourselves in a half empty restaurant. Waited ages for a menu, but that didn't matter as no one asked us what we wanted any way.
After 15 minutes we got up and left.
No one noticed or seemed to care.
Shame. Food looked OK. Staff, not so much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant offers the perfect 'Portugal Experience' - to eat fresh grilled fish a few steps away from the ocean, while drinking Portuguese white wine. The fish was excellent and the waiters were very friendly. Make sure you try the Amêijoas à Bulhão Pato. It is not a cheap restaurant, though (±60€ for a fish for 2 people)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The seafood tastes great and is freshly grilled but ultimately this is a glorified beach shack restaurant. You pay a premium for the undisputedly very pleasant setting but it is not luxury dining. Be careful when ordering that you understand how much fish you are asking for as it is price per 100g. A delicious turbot for 3 came in at over €105.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a nice late dinner a few days ago. The seabass was fantastic, the side dish (baked potatoes, carrots and green beans) also very tasty. Nice ambiance on the quiet beach. But the price is also very high for such a restaurant: 62€ per Kilo (raw fish, I guess). We've paid over 70€ for two persons, including one beer and a couple of soft drinks, hence only 4 stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food (take the fish or the veal, thats my recommendation), nice service and good wine not too expensive. Also the playa is great with good places to sit. Its 10€ per mid day.
