The bar is average, food quality is OK, service was a bit slow when we were there, but the location makes up for a lot.
The new walkway across the river means you can access it from both sides of the river.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice river beach, with a lot of sand to lie on. There is no shortage of space. There are also plenty of amenities just next to it... bar, beach volley, barbecue and a big open space parking lot.
The water is quite low in this part of the river, so it will feel like a big natural pool. Great for the kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic river beach with something for everybody. Shallow fresh waters. Life guard on duty. Families, water sports, walks.
There is a complex of bars which have a relaxed setting, music, nice range of hot and cold food including dishes of the day, and cold beers.
Plenty of parking spaces.
