★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was quick but then we were the only 2 people apart from one other woman. The owner was overly familiar. He also bigged up the food too much. We had the pork dish with mushroom and garlic. Portions were on the small side. Quality was on the low side for the food. Prices were excessive for what it was, 26.40. I gave him 40 and was returned 3.60 change. Pointed out the missing 10 euro.

And that’s not all they have to offer... fresh seafood, wines and consistently faultless service and friendly, cosy atmosphere... couldn’t ask for anything better.. oh and always wonderful selection of the finest Portuguese wines!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was by chance that I ended up in this restaurant in the middle of a tiny village called Vila Nova de Cacela (at Portuguese Algarve region). Sr. Jorge and Sra Ana were superb hosts. Their impressive homemade food and warm reception made this place something very special. For sure I’ll be back and next time will be a planed one!
