S	Sijmen van der Willik on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This meal went downhill really fast. We ordered starters first, cheese wasn't great but not terrible and the shrimp rolls were actually really good. Then came the soups, both were about 50% cream and 50% soup, I found a slice of ham in my vegetable soup, when I asked about it I was told "it is a ham soup". Ham in the soup is fine, but having 1 slice is kind of suspicious. On to the main course, this is where it really went off the rails: we had mushroom risotto which was the mushiest of all mush, kind of what you imagine happens when a baby eats your risotto and then pukes it up. The other main was grilled squid, unfortunately grilled was interpreted as "burnt to a crisp" in the kitchen, so this was entirely inedible. This was the point where we got up, told the waiter we can't eat this, paid for the starters and the soup and left. I feel sorry for the waiter having to relay these messages. 1 star

The food is quite bad quality, the portions are poor and served with bad looking dressing. The prices are unreasonable and they asked to pay immediately when they started to hear that the food was not appreciated. I'm living in Portugal since several years now and I've never had such a bad escpetience in a restaurant. Definitely a place to avoid
R	Ruth Lewis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner is a very funny and kind man. He puts in so much effort into his restaurant. Servers are kind and helpful. The food is great, and cheap. I recommend this restaurant for cheap Portuguese cuisine.

B	Boris M. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst restaurant in Lisbon on our trip. We sat near the entrance and freeze extremely. The door was open wide and a cold wind came through. The food was uninspired. The atmosphere terrible. We had to argue to get separate bills.
T	Tinu Unit on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant, wonderful staff, amazing food, very well positioned in Bairro Alto. You can find here traditional portuguese food, european food - chicken, porc, beef, grilled or fried, soups, seafood, salads, deserts, the well known portuguese wine and a very large selection of beverages. We tried several places in Bairro Alto, but this one was our favourite! PS: big like for the staff ! Friendly and always ready to give a good advice.

Mushroom risotto was not what I ordered but wifey liked it Giving it five stars because of the value, not because it's Michelin star fine dining but to counterbalance unfair reviews. Note to others: bacalau is not "fresh," is a bit dry, and has bones in it. That's its nature.
