★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff were great and did their best to make the experience superb. The atmosphere was really great. Hostel is very clean. There is even a co-working space with comfortable chairs. I will be back again!

Just a bit far from anything if you are walking but there's a supermarket nearby

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sagres sun stay is a really nice place to stay. Nice rooms and bathrooms. There is also a big kitchen and a pool (as it was raining I didn’t use it). It has a big outdoor area which is very nice.
It’s a very international place, good if you travel alone, you will meet friendly fellow surfers or hikers doing the rot vincentina trek. The employees of the hostels are also very friendly and helpful

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything was nice and clean. I liked the overall new and modern Ambiente as well as their approach to use renewable energies! The staff person was really friendly and helpful!
I only didn‘t like the one big bathroom for all and found it a bit pricey for a dorm without towel!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hostel is one of the cleanest and best hostels I ever stayed in. The staff is super friendly and the rooms as well as the bathrooms are so clean! I felt very comfortable surfing my stay in Sagres and I would recommend this hostel to my friends. Sagres also is a super cute town and the nature around is stunning. Perfect for a surf or hiking trip.

The hostel itself was very clean and pleasant, only the breakfast could be a bit better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed at the hostel for 10 days and did the 7 day surf package. I honestly had the best time. The dorms are really comfortable and well thought out, with plenty of space to store your things and a curtain for privacy. The facilities were really good, clean and super neat. Awesome swimming pool and I found the staff to be really helpful and accommodating. The breakfasts and lunches with the surf package were such such nice touch too. Special shout out to Jojo, the surf instructor, who is so dedicated to teaching surfing. He was amazing.The dorm is so well located too. Loved it. Would definitely return

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed at Sagres Sun Stay the first year they opened - and I came back every year since :)
For me it's the perfect mix between a hostel and an 'apartment': on the one hand you have loads of people to meet and hang out with in the kitchen or by the pool, and on the other hand you can enjoy some time alone in your private room if you choose to rent one of these.
Anna and her team is great! Everything is super organised, clean and whenever you have a question you get a proper answer.
I can highly recommend Sagres Sun Stay to everyone and will definitely come back this year again :)
