All was perfect! The beginners surf lesson is a great start to learn the basic things of surfing. Nelson did a great job in taking a lot of time for everyone and giving self-confidence combined with the most important thing: having fun & enjoy! Absolutely recommended!

perfect experience, Nelson was a super cool surf teacher who gave each of us students individual feedback and helped us getting the waves fitting our skills :) I would definitely recommend this surf school!

Instructor was very nice but all logistics terribly organized. 11 students for 1 teacher and they made us wait about 1:30h for the right tide (something easily to forecast). And expensive (although it’s the price of that area). Do not recommend

We made 3 surf lessons with Wavesensation: wonderful experience that we'll never forget, everything was perfect! The guys in the surf shop were very friendly and the instructors Simon, Fran and Nelson were abolutely nice, motivating and helpful. Thank you!!

AMAZING experience!! My bf and I did the short stay (3x days surf, 4x night stay) which was perfect and not many other schools offer this type of package which was a big plus. We enjoyed our time so much we went surfing with them again the day we checked out! We highly recommend Wavesensation Surf camp & the surf house. The house itself is beautiful and has all the amenities you need. The interior is modern, clean and well designed- you feel right at home immediately. The welcoming staff is very professional, friendly and helpful (shout out to Pedro). We had a private double room which was phenomenal -high hotel standards. TV included, Wifi, great bathroom and nice bed. The only small missing part was a self controlled aircon or a fan. Breakfast was basic, but very nice. We would just recommend serving breakfast a bit earlier since there wasn't enough time to digest between breakfast and surf lessons. The backyard area is also AMAZING. So nice to spend time there relaxing, reading, hanging out and enjoying the sun and Sagres breeze. Great restaurants nearby- all walking distance. Tonel Beach is just 5 minutes walking and great place to learn to surf. This was our First time surfing and we could not have had a better experience. All the equipment including boards, wet suits and leashes were great quality. We could not have asked for better instructors. SUPER professional, knowledgeable, fun, attentive and just great people. We always had 3-4 instructors. They were so patient and helpful while in the water- that after just 1 day of lessons we were already standing and catching some wavesss!! We felt safe, confident and they always immediately gave us feedback after every wave which helped so much. Thank you Caio, Bine, Danka and Nelson for such an unforgettable time!! <3 Thank you to everyone at Wavesensations! We will be back soon.

Jess and Nelson are the best instructors I've had so far. They showed me a lot of details that really made the difference to be able to ride the first green waves. The surf lessons were super long and we were exhausted and happy afterwards. Next time, I'll definitely book again some lessons. Surf's up!

Best surf school I have attended anywhere I have been surfing for 30 years and developed bad habits that the instructors were able to help me with in their intermediate lessons Fran and Nelson were excellent helping all of us improve The spot at Tonel was perfect for intermediates and we all had many great rides.
