Thanks to James and Sandra we have been able to really get to know surfing although we have never been on a surfboard before. Looking forward to visiting Sandycamps again!??

There is a big living room where you can chill and spend time with other guest The surfspots are close by 2 spots on walking distance and an advanced surfspot (supertubos) within 10 minute drive. A lot of quality restaurants close by and the surf vibe is alive in Baleal I loved it here

There are bikes for hire in case you need them. One starts the morning quite chilled, the garden and patio are so cozy. Having breakfast there is a joy. It's also where we spent most of our time in the house. The surf lessons were fantastic, James is just special. Although it's self catering, the vibe is very familiar and we often shared delicacies with other guests. The Sandycamps team know how to create a family feeling. Sandra is very helpful organising transfers and excursions. The house is very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed surfing, bbqs, yoga and picnics. We're still in touch with the team and other guests and will definitely be back!

The house is amazing with all comforts, good cleaning and a beautiful garden to chill and enjoy the sunny days. You can find the beach a few steps away from the house. Also if you need to park the car there is a lot of free space next to the house. But for me, the best was the hosts, James, Sandra and Marcel are incredible. They are really friendly and make you feel very welcomed and part of the family since the beginning. I also recommend the surf classes with James, he is the best teacher you could ask. So, if you book this place you won't be dissapointed for sure.

It is very tidy and clean ! There is a great mood in the house and you can go as you like : either mix with people and share your meals, evening etc. or just go your way with your owns plans, it is up to you ! Sandra and James were really super welcoming and the quality of the surf lessons are amazing ! I would never had thought that a first time surfing would be so much fun.

It is very quiet during the days and nights. They have a super beautiful garden where you can do yoga, relax, eat and do barbecues. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need. Can also recommend the surf lessons they offer at a fair price. James is a great surf instructor! Thank you to the three owners of Sandycamps, they are amazing!! Super welcoming and available, always around and they do really their best to make you enjoy your stay.

The house itself was clean as well as the room, and it has a lot of space internal and external. The house has also all the facilities you’d might need. Moreover, it’s just 5 minutes walking far from the beach and a supermarket. Really great stay I will come back for sure for my next trip in Peniche.
