★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting railway station in Central Porto. The tiling is excellent and worth looking at though some is inaccessible because of work going on. The station is functional. Ticket machines are not that easy to use and for many trips you will need a travel card. We simply visited the ticket office and bought our tickets there. Staff spoke English and were able to issue tickets for tomorrow.

Furthermore, this must have been the only time I have gone to a train station just to see it, not to go anywhere. The beautiful azulejos make this station very unique and definitely a place worth visiting when you’re in Porto.
