★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Admin is purposely unhelpful. Officious. Space is lovely but be prepared to be annoyed. Refused to let me have a package delivered despite our company renting a private room for 2 weeks.
Food staff/service is excellent and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful space, set in one of the best locations throughout Lisbon. Stayed here for a month in summer 2021, using a residents membership. The staff here are fantastic, and it was great getting to know other members. The events they hold are brilliant, and it was great to go surfing with the team (first time). Always quiet enough to get work done, but enough of an atmosphere to enjoy the social side of things. The team also went the extra mile to help me out with a few admin requests, which is greatly appreciated. Recommend this to anyone looking to join a co-working space in Lisbon, or even to break up the repetitiveness of working from home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool space, plenty of plants but it's not functional at all. If you have to make calls or need a quiet space to run a meeting then be prepared to do it out in the open.
The reception staff are go out of their way to make your time there less than enjoyable. It's almost as if using their space you are an inconvenience to them. If you have a reciprocal membership from another SH space, you're made to feel unwelcome. Additionally, you're only allowed to use the space for 5 days per month but rather than telling you this upon arrival, it's your fault or the London offices fault for not telling you (huh?).
If you're an expat working remotely and looking for a space to meet new people while you're on a workcation for a week or 2, DO NOT go to this place. Terrible experience, even for existing members.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After visiting many coworking spaces in Lisbon and around this world, Second Home fits me perfectly. I was looking for a work space that isn’t a bunch of digital nomads temporarily staying in Lisbon. I find value in expanding my professional network and the community here has members that are serious about their work. At other spaces, you get the cliche “I’m a freelance copy writer” but in reality they are just in Lisbon to surf and party. At Second Home, you will form genuine connections. The staff at Second Home is amazing as forming connections with members to help their business thrive. A coworking place should be much more than a table and chair for your laptop. The value is the community and culture.
The cafe at Second Home is second to none with healthy food options that is affordable and delicious. Each person of the Second Home team comes into the office every morning asking “how can I help everyone thrive?”
Of course, the office design itself is inspirational with a focus on nature. Not your typical coworking space. If you’re a serious entrepreneur needing a space that helps you learn, be productive, and find inspiration, I highly recommend Second Home.
