About Shiraz Restaurants Faro
Just had a lovely lunch at Shiraz Faro. We noticed the restaurant whilst sat around the pool at Hotel Faro opposite. The food was amazing and the experience all the better due to our lovely waitress who advised us on the dishes that would suit us. We were not disappointed. Thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. Thank you to the chef and to our lovely hostess for looking after us so well. All the best x

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our visit to Shiraz was our first experience of Iranian food ... but it certainly won't be our last. Less spicy but more flavoured and easier to digest than Indian food, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the experience was made even more delightful by the warm & friendly host who provided valuable advice in helping us to make our choices. Full marks and we would recommend Shiraz without hesitation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First night in Faro and lovely meal at Shiraz after being recommended to me by a friend who had been before. You can play the menu two ways which works well for larger parties - many dishes are more Persian whilst some have more traditional curry tastes. Delicious all round. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff are friendly. Barg had a good quality but unfortunately baklava was not delicious! The quality of rice and safran was not ok! Actually that was not safran used in rice it was sth like food color! Khiyarmast did not taste well…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were actually looking for a Portuguese restaurant but the menu here looked so good that we decided to try it and it was an excellent decision! The food was absolutely delicious; freshly prepared, delicately flavoured and piping hot. Michael and his colleague were super attentive and the meal was very reasonably priced. I hadn't tried Persian good before so this was a real treat, we will certainly be back next time we're in Faro. Our personal favourites were the lamb kebab and the rose and saffron ice cream. Can't wait to come back!
