In the end, I tasted 2 whites and 3 reds, all very different; from the malvasia to the famous Touriga nacional! Great visit and its awesome to receive the official map of all the quintas in the region!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The museum is very limited, but as it is free it is certainly worth a visit. Unfortunately the wine tasting itself was not such a good experience. No place to sit, no water available, no information about the wine. The wine didn't taste good. We think some of the bottles were open too long.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place for tourist. Why? Free wine tasting. This place is very quiet, on average visited by only ten people a day. (yes, it is not for profit, financed by government or EU).
You can buy good local wines here, also see small museum about local wine. Nice experience. Staff speaks English good,but is not too pleasant for customers.

When we visited they had 8 wines available for tasting. 1 rose, 3 whites and 4 reds all from Dão region. The prices per 50ml varies from 1.25 euro to 2 euros.
Our guide Izabel explained every wines and show us a video about the region. We really enjoyed the explanations and the overall experience in general.
The only thing that would need improvement would be to offer more than 8 bottles for tasting as I am sure there are many more flavors to discover.
