★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finding a proper Dinner in Albufeira is a bit hard since there are a lot of ''tourist'' places. Staar did not disappoint. Food was very well priced and top quality, as was the service. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a great dinner experience!! Thanks to the team at Staar!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best meals we have ate. They managed to squeeze us in even though we arrived 40 minutes early. Atmosphere and setting is perfect. Scallops and octopus were melt in the mouth the Tomahawk is a must if your a steak lover. Medium rare cooked to perfection. The deserts and cocktails were to die for. Accompanied by a beautiful bottle of Portugese red. Would pay double in the UK.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great family run restaurant with food that takes some beating. I first visited Staar in July 2021 and it quickly became my favourite place to go in Albufeira, everything on the menu takes beating and all at a reasonable price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must-go place in Algarve! First, the service was super friendly and professional. Then, the food was just amazing. As a foodie, I really enjoyed the attention to details and the quality of the ingredients. The flavor was just delicious. Make sure you don’t miss the “fua grais two-way”!
And the prices were great, worth every euro, making it one of the best dinners we had in Portugal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once in a while you find a restaurant that has it all. A very tempting menu, balanced food and very nice staff. Prices are midrange and wine is incredible. This restaurant comes highly recommended, however it is clever to make a reservation. The foie gras is very nice.

Everything was perfect, from the immaculate decor, to the incredible and personal customer service through to the 5 star meal that we were presented with. Highly reccommend you try Staar Restaurante.
