S	Samuele Samiolo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is not so far from Coimbra City Center, but it is on a very busy street and I suggest to reserve park for car inside the hotel. The room is so preety, big and so isolated from the noise of the street. The breakfast is so lovely becouse there is so much things for all tastes with traditional and continental food. The staff is so kind and helpful to suggest us what to visit in the city and where to eat something for the dinner. The bathroom isn't so much new and it needs to be renovate, for example replacing the bathtub.
B	Bessie Manis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At first we thought it would be nightmare. Getting past the entrance, the receptionists were more than friendly. Very sincere with good suggestions. The rooms were excellent for the price we paid. The location was also quite nice because we parked in the hotel parking and the historic town expanded right across the street.
J	Junior Mayhe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The base of the bathroom curtains had mold and mildew, totally old. The balcony doors and wardrobe would not close. The room welcome kit did not have the electric kettle and we had to order it at reception. I didn't understand why the kit only had a coffee sachet when there were two people in the room. When shooting with my cell phone at night with flash we could see a lot of dust circulating in the room air and there seems to be a problem with the ventilation. Not so many TV channels as in other hotels. Breakfast had cold coffee and milk, no eggs and the buffet has little variety compared to other hotels in other countries. At 1am the fire alarm rang for a long time in the hotel corridor, we tried to call reception and no one answered the call. Walking down the stairs to the front desk, I saw that there was only one person alone and she didn't know how to turn off the alarm, apparently without training and personnel. The hotel staff however seems friendlier than other hotels.
A	At Home on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An excellent choice for a stay in downtown Coimbra. This is midway between Coimbra A railway station and the coach station for domestic and international journeys. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful and spoke good English. Do ask for a room at the rear of the hotel to avoid noise from the main road. I had a room on the fifth floor at the back and this review loses a star for the overly noisy lift motor.
G	Gabriel Amarista on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The doublebedroom we got had a very small window, felt quite cold and claustrophobic. There were some issues with the remote. The TV would work properly. Additionally, the staff was not very friendly at all and you needed to pay extra for a parking lot. All in all, not good. It was cheap, but only usable if you are only sleeping there. Nothing else.
Δ	Δημήτρης Διαμάντης on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible bathroom. Just horrible. Very poor breakfast at a ridiculously high price of 9 euros. Mattress was good and that was the only nice thing for me. Location is OK, toom was quiet.
R	René Gerritsen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple, but nice hotel. Quite a bit of road noise, really spacious room. Simple but adequate breakfast. Dinner should be seen as a backup, as it was nothing special: heated frozen food (we were told about this in advance, so not marking down for that), although the sandwiches with chips were great as well as the soup. Portions are large and the price is low. Parking garage for 12 euro per night, right next to the front door.
A	Aksys Trad on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is a hidden gem. Good location, central but quiet, so a good night's sleep was guaranteed. Quality starts at the entrance. Exceptionally clean, bright and airy facilities. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. The room was so clean with everything you need, a soft and comfortable bed. Great value for money. Would recommend.
