★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cosy restaurant with reasonably priced great food, a charming and helpful owner and superb free fado performances on Wednesday evenings. Their Saõ Tomé chocolate cake with Vanilla ice cream is a supreme delight not to be missed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely family run restaurant that offers Fado as well. Food is Portuguese driven with other European dishes. Elegantly prepared with good service without fuss. Waiter and waitress were brother and sister, adult children of owners. Decor is wonderful mix of portugues and french/Greek. Modern feel without being cold. Definitely will be back and recommend.
We as the chestnut and leek soups which were perfect. Coq a vin was hearty and comfort but not overly heavy. Medallions of Porco Pata Negra were flavorful but light. Homemade spice sauce was very good and spicy. Desert of pear and orange with Tumeric was a delight. Not too sweet, slightly chilled. Great way to finish. Yet also revived complementary bolo rei Christmas cake!
Had a bottle of wine too. All in €63 for two (to summarize: 2 starters, 2 entrees, 1 desert, 1 comped desert, 2 cafes, 2 bottle of Portuguese wine from Douro).
Excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just happened in here (near our room) and were blown away by the staff and excellent meal! The duck was to die for, the octopus salad was bright and fresh, and the surprising olive oil butter cake with lemon sorbet shouldn’t be missed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ate here randomly and it was great. We ordered 6 apps like tapas and enjoyed all of them. The owners are great. We asked for an espresso martini, which wasn't on the menu, and they took a great interest in making one for us which turned out great. Very reasonably priced for what you get as well.
