★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great cafe as it is really welcoming when you walk in. My only regret is that I just drank coffee as I was cycling and it seems like most holidays I realised I was over weight and needed to diet. What a pity as the cakes for sale looked delicious and I dont doubt they was as cheap to buy as my coffee was.
It was that cheap that after I had paid and walked out to my bike I had to return inside and tell them that I had actually had two coffees and I was told that was what I had been charged for. Unbelievable. If you are in the area and whether you are on a diet or not you must pay this cafe a visit. Best wishes to the owner & staff.

Their homemade cakes and shortbreads are very delicious.
They also provides honey in various tastes and the prices are very resonable.
5 coffees and 5 shortbreads 7,6€....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best honey in Monchique / Algarve area. Used to make a great Melosa (traditional artisenal drink). They also serve great sweet cookies with they honey, or almonds or sweet potatoes (best)! The cafe looks clean, in between typical old Portugese and up to date and has a warm, friendly, both English and Portugese speaking staff.
They so have a nice view on Sunset and the hills on the foot of Monchique.
My place to always visit when im in the Algarve!
