We found this place by the host we stayed and we felt immediately very local spot when we got in here with bright owner and card playing locals next to us. Truely home made, fresh, warm local food with offordable tasty local wine produced in cooperative way. We 5 people had great time here with nice food, wine and warm people for 2 dinners! Want to come back this village to visit this tasca in the near future. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We LOVED this restaurant and had the most delicious dinners here 2 nights in a row. The owners/staff are so friendly and made us feel like family/locals. Such a lovely homey and local feel. We ate the most traditional, delicious Portuguese food here. Sardines, Soups, Meat (pork cheek with chestnuts I think?), Dessert, Porto, Wine, Huge portions, and everything served with greens/rice too. my husband and I shared and recommend sharing. Everything we ate was fantastic. Just order whatever they recommend for that day as everything is so fresh. Lovely people, thank you for everything!!! <3 -Caroline and Nick, Brooklyn
