★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to eat! At first glance it looks (and is) a wine shop, but they got a great kitchen. We had the veal and the black pork cheeks.The quality and preperation of the meat is excellent. The side-dishes (fries and rice) were a nice addition to the meal. High quality service and a nice host . Price/quality is suberb. We had 2 main cources a shared dessert and some drinks. We paid € 50 in total, and got a nice glass of port on the house.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved this little place. Its on a very cozy side street characterized by the Portugese cobble stones, oodles of restaurants and nice shops. The food quality was fantastic. In particular the salad with strawberries, brie cheese, honey and vinaigrette was probably the best salad I have had in years. My wife loved the pork cheeks as well. The service was top notch too. One hard thing to remember in Portugal is that when you pay by credit card (which is not common as many places only take cash) they don't plug in the option to choose a tip percentage. You have to tell them in advance that you want them to charge a specified amount including a tip. When I tried to cancel my transaction because I forgot to tip the server (probably an owner) insisted I not tip and continue with the transaction. I felt bad as we were out of cash but he was a gentleman and excellent server.

From the entrees to dessert, from the fish to the meat...an absolute must in Évora, especially for dinner. Might be a bit pricy if you're on a budget, but it's worth every penny... Book in advance because it's quite busy!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice atmosphere but the food was very mediocre. Chips were soggy, sausage was interesting to say the least and even the olives weren’t very nice. The side salad was by far the best part of the meal. Wine was good.
