Warm friendly welcome by a charming Portuguese lady who is very knowledgeable of the seasonal traditional and artistic dishes on the menu and of the innovative wine list (and she speaks English!). We ate lunch today and booked a table straight away for next week. The homemade sourdough focaccia was the best I ever tasted. Traditional inspired Gazpacho with strawberries and fresh herbs incredibly balanced and delicious. Baked red cabbage with sliced plums and green peppers and pickled vegetables was a wonderful & a new experience and inspiration. Home made pasta with ragu; rich and full of deep flavours. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ food was good, service very disappointing. after we did not order a bottle of wine but two glasses of different wines the waiter was not interested anymore. ordered another glass of wine after being ignored. never had that glass but they charged it. we mentioned the kind of irritating service but they were not interested at all. very sad and disappointing experience. but it seems, they do not care about tourist who probably visit only one time…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a gorgeous and relaxed lunch with the family here. We ended up ordering everything on the menu and each dish was delicious and well prepared. They had some interesting and nee combinations as well as some great classics. The menu is quite small and ever changing but I am sure there is something for everyone. Our kids enjoyed it too. Service was attentive. It is a tiny place so pays to book in advance.

This small place is just a gem in the middle of Évora, it’s not “standard” food and they don’t have a menu so you can study it and see if you like it or not but that’s why it’s so good. They grab Portuguese flavors and they use Italian techniques and just create the most fantastic foods that I ever tasted.
The fact that the menu is always changing means that everyone you go there you can taste different flavours and plates and you’ll get a little something for everyone, vegan plates, fish, meat, bread you have everything
I’ve recommended this place to a lot of friends and they all agree that is one of those places that you need to go and try.
