★ ★ ★ ★ ★ He cogido 3 taxis entre el hotel HF Fenix y el centro de Oporto. El coste medio del viaje ha sido 5€ y pico, menos en uno de los viajes en que ponía el taxímetro 7,10 y el taxista ha redondeado a ¡ 8€ ! Además ninguno nos ha digido la palabra ni para dar los buenos dias ni para dar las gracias. Nos hemos pasado a Cabify: coste de 4€, coches nuevos y muy amables los conductores.
I have taken 3 taxis between the HF Fenix hotel and the center of Porto. The average cost of the trip has been € 5 something, less in one of the trips in which the meter put 7.10 and the taxi driver rounded it to € 8! Furthermore, no one has spoken to us either to say good morning or to say thank you. We have switched to Cabify: € 4 cost, new cars and very friendly drivers.

Not only did they not show up to pick me up as arranged by phone, they never answered me again, nor did they give me any satisfaction. I recommend not using this service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would give negative stars if I could!!!! The ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE I have ever received. Take an Uber by all means take an Uber it will be the best decision of your life!!! I took 4 different taxis in my time in Portugal and they all had me absolutely terrified. THEY DRIVE LIKE MAD MEN!!! I’m serious, they nearly killed us!! They went 50 km/h in a 10 km/h zone, tailgate literally every car, nearly strike and kill every pedestrian crossing the street, it’s horrible! The entire ride I would just hold onto my seatbelt and pray. Not to mention they RIP YOU OFF. They charge an insane amount of money for such horrible service. My hotel was about a 3km, 7 minutes drive and my taxi driver literally took 15 minutes taking the largest detours they possibly could just so they could rack up more money. The service is garbage, dangerous, and expensive, ever since I started taking Ubers I will NEVER EVER TAKE A TAKI IN PORTUGAL AGAIN.
