★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tolles Appartment. Bequeme Betten. Schöne Zimmer. Hübsch eingerichtet.
Leider ist zwischendurch der Wasserdruck ziemlich gering. Es fehlten ein paar Haken im Bad und ein paar Bügel. Der Teppich im Wohnzimmer war etwas dreckig. Ansonsten auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Die berühmte Linie 28 hält nur ein Stückchen weiter oben und fährt direkt am Appartment vorbei. Gute Fotomöglichkeiten.
 Great apartment. Comfortable beds. Nice rooms. Nicely decorated.
Unfortunately, in between the water pressure is quite low. It lacked a few hooks in the bathroom and a few hangers. The carpet in the living room was a bit dirty. Otherwise, definitely recommended. The famous line 28 stops just a bit further up and goes directly past the apartment. Good photo opportunities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La location pour 9 personnes d'un appartement avec 6 couchages et une escroquerie. Nous avons donc changé d'appartement le lendemain.
Nous avons également decouvert qu'un autre locataire avait le même soucis, ses enfants dormant sur un lit improvisé.
Je déconseille vivement
The rental for 9 people of an apartment with 6 beds and a scam. So we changed apartment the next day.
We also discovered that another tenant had the same worries, his children sleeping on an improvised bed.
I strongly advise against

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ESCROQUERIE !!! La personne donnant les clés part très rapidement avant que l'on puisse se rendre compte qu'il manque des couchage. Après avoir appelé Booking il nous informe que le propriétaire affirme qu'il y a 2lit double, 2 lit simple et 1 canapé lit or les 2 canapé ne sont que de simple canapé. Nous avons donc dû être reloger et nous n'étions pas les seuls de l'immeuble a avoir était escroqué . Un scandale !
ESCROQUERIE !!! The person giving the keys leaves very quickly before we can realize that there is a lack of sleeping. After calling Booking it informs us that the owner claims that there is 2lit double, 2 single bed and 1 sofa bed gold the 2 sofa are just a sofa. So we had to be relocated and we were not the only ones in the building to have been swindled. Scandal !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived and it was easy to enter the building. Its beautifully decorated with a lovely kitchen. However, it smelled very damp and one of the bedroom heater was just blowing cold air. Not only that,but there was no heating at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review isn't for the Alfama lofts. I have yet to find any Google reviews for the Castilho flat, so I'm going to leave this here:
DO NOT rent a room there, under no circumstances.
The woman who "welcomes" you there - who will either go by the name of Zoriana or "Sarah" - never shows up if you're in need, rarely ever answers your queries, and worst of all STEALS your money.
She owes me €460 since the 14th of August:
€160 from the deposit, €150 from an overpayment and a further €150 as I had to leave half way through the month.
To this day (11th of September 2021) she has yet to send me the money she owes me and now refuses to even answer me on WhatsApp (which is the only form of contact you will have with her).
There have been other instances like this with previous flatmates, Zoriana would do all she could to avoid paying the deposit back.
It's a real shame because the flat is nice and rather clean, but this woman is clueless, irresponsible, and a fraud.
