C	Cliff Tucker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well we didn't stay but went in for coffee and a drink. Air conditioning wasn't working. They couldn't make a calypso coffee. And for 9 euros they should be able to. It looks 5 star but that's it..service definitely isnt

J	Jane Caulfield-Kerney on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband is in a wheelchair and although we were beautifully looked after at the Blue Lagoon poolside bar, we were disappointed not to have easy access to a wheelchair friendly bathroom until after my husband had struggled down the steps to the public bathrooms. After this, a very kind member of staff offered to open up a much more accessible loo, but by that time it was too late! I had asked to be directed to the loo by a member of the staff and at that point it would have been useful to have been pointed to the most convenient facilities. Aside from this issue, it was a lovely experience.

This appears to be one of the most upmarket resorts in Vilamoura and the guests were mainly young families and couples. It's classy and very quiet. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast is plentiful and I was very impressed by the attentive and friendly staff at breakfast. We tried to use the spa but it was fully booked so I recommend booking well in advance. The best thing about this hotel is the delight that is Joana, the Guest Relations Manager. She is dazzling and so helpful. She makes a conscious effort to engage and welcome all of the guests and is such an asset to the hotel. She really helped us with some fabulous restaurant recommendations and bookings and was super welcoming. In fact, she made our trip. Thank you for a lovely stay.
