★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is absolutely amazing. I've had sushi in Toronto, Vancouver, and many times in Japan. I was very hesitant to have sushi in Portugal but this is likely some of the best sushi and oysters I've ever had. The presentation was beautiful, the temperature was perfect, the quality of the food was extremely high, and each detail was sensational. Mind blown!

I saw other review that says their order was messed up as well (missing items) on takeouts. I didn't believe the review until I experienced it myself.
I ordered 2 items on delivery (Uramaki, Plain sushi assortment 12 pieces). Uramaki was missing. How hard is it to miss 1 item out of only 2 items ordered?
The 12 pieces assortment was not accurate to the description (number of each type of sushi) .
Nigiri were wrapped by a thin slice of fish, and some Uramaki had some kind of egg on them. I can see that they are tying to create their own fusion style influenced by sushi.
Tori Sushi House is a fusion restaurant, not a sushi restaurant.
Also, sushi is way too overpriced for its quality and portion (pieces are tiny) and sushi rice is soggy and sour.
During my stay in Portugal, I missed a taste of Japanese food as I am Japanese and wanted to see how the sushi is like in Portugal.
But, I regret my choice that I picked this one to try Portugal sushi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in March before Covid 19. The restaurant was empty. The sushi were incredible. I jus wanna go back to Porto for this restaurant. I could NEVER find such quality for this price in France. It thinks it is not traditional but fusion though but wow.

The place is quiet and relaxing, so don't go there in a hurry. Enjoy your time there... and the staff quite nice and helpful.
The food was simply amazing: the presentation was very well handled and the taste was very good. 5 stars

If you expected variety and value for your money, go somewhere else.
Usually I order delivery sushi as a treat or celebration of something special. This time my dinner was completely ruined.
After paying 65 euros for a delivery of 32 pieces of varied sashimi plus 8 slices of spicy tuna and 4 eel maki, I was expecting to get something special.
Instead I got four slices of tuna, 4 slices of flambeed tuna, both half the usual size that you get at any adequate restaurant. The rest was salmon, everything half sized.
Called the restaurant. Answer was that they “ran out of fishes”. To add insult to injury, a 20% voucher was proposed, to discount on a future visit to the restaurant.
For a bill upwards of 50 euro, this is ridiculous.
You have seen my last euro, and I will be sure to pass on the message to my friends. I won’t be happy if they go through the same experience!
