★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Torre do Relógio de Vila de Frades contém um dos poucos relógios de Portugal a funcionar por pêndulo e à corda. A construção original é do séc. XVI, tendo recebido o sino em bronze, em 1780. A torre foi totalmente remodelada em 1890 (data constante na frente da torre) ao gosto revivalista, repescando elementos medievais, como são os merlões escalonados e as aberturas ogivais, alterando completamente a imagem da antiga torre medieval.
 The Clock Tower of Vila de Frades contains one of the few clocks in Portugal that works by pendulum and rope. The original construction is from the century. XVI, having received the bronze bell, in 1780. The tower was completely remodeled in 1890 (date shown on the front of the tower) in revival style, recapturing medieval elements, such as the staggered merlons and the ogival openings, completely changing the image of the old medieval tower.
