Intéressante par ses grilles en fer avec ses petites sculptures donnant des directives aux femmes qui avaient habitude de se réunir à la base de la tour. Tower of the church. Sin embargo he de decir que es bonita cuando de casualidad te la encuentras paseando por las calles de la ciudad. Вы будто вернулись в те времена когда ещё люди верили в Бога. Guimaraes is a city that must be dedicated. All buildings are well kept. A tremendous amount of labor has been invested by those who built and no less than those who contain all this. You seemed to be back in those days when people still believed in God.

Segundo conta a história a Torre dos Almadas em granito e de três pisos terá ficado exposta e com uma cobertura de quatro águas, sem janelas para o Largo. Além de ter continuado a servir de habitação, o espaço foi partilhado pelas casas da vizinhança ficando a torre isolada. Por volta dos anos 50 a torre terá sido habitada por um funcionário da Câmara com a sua família, Almeida Coelho conservador do Paço dos Duques que também habitou provisoriamente a torre dos Almadas, enquanto se preparava a sua residência no Paço. Depois da sua saída a torre foi utilizada como atelier do pintor Maltieira enquanto permaneceu em Guimarães. Em 1964, o então Presidente da Câmara de Guimarães, Mendes Ribeiro, por proposta do vereador e primeiro Presidente dos Nicolinos, António Faria Martins, ficou definido que o espaço seria cedido por um período de 50 anos à Associação dos Antigos Estudantes do Liceu de Guimarães. De arquitectura sencilla, constituye un buen ejemplo de residencia nobiliaria. Fue la residencia de Pedro Álvares de Almada. Cuenta con dos pisos más la planta baja en la que se sitúa la puerta de arco completo. Es la sede de la Asociación de Nicolinos desde 1968, y está cerrada al público a excepción del fin de semana de Octubre en que se celebran las fiestas de Guimarães Noc Noc. The tower nestled between modern buildings has an obvious medieval appearance, and was built in granite on a previous tower from the 16th century. Simple in architecture, it constitutes a good example of a noble residence. It was the residence of Pedro Álvares de Almada. It has two floors plus the ground floor where the full arch door is located. It has been the headquarters of the Nicolinos Association since 1968, and is closed to the public except for the weekend of October when the Guimarães Noc Noc festivities are celebrated.
