Played here last week and loved it. What a wonderful golf course, great design and very playable. There is no boring hole and you can walk, take a golf board or a buggy. Easy. What makes this place is the staff... So very friendly and accommodating. If you like your golf, you won't be disappointed here. Thank you!

Beautiful golf course but tough to play with lots of sand

Just one of the best golf courses in Portugal! As simple as that!

Good course, not sure how they make money - I was one of at most 10 people golfing on a Friday (noon tee-off). Course is a nice design, but in need of water. Small things that need improvement: 1. signage on the course is terrible. For example, leading up to the 16th green there is nothing to tell you where the next hole is - but some 30 yards past the green I finally found the sign. Others point roughly in the proper direction (but can be off by 90 degrees - really!). Why do you want your guests to guess!? 2. Driving in past the gate beware - there is a 3" piece of metal jutting out of the ground waiting to shred your tires (to lock the gate after hours). How hard is it to fix that? 3. I spent 35 Euros renting clubs - 10 of them. No 3 or 4 iron/hybrid, no 52 or 60 degree wedge. Uggghhh. 4. No water on the course. 5. No toilet on the course. 6. I bought 2 sleeves of balls, but only needed one - couldn't return the other. 7. On course hole maps are sadly lacking in detail. 8. Course map is also lacking in detail, or have details that don't exist (some fairway bunkers shown were not actually on the course). 9. The entire Troia peninsula gas beautiful sand, but I swear the sand bunkers are are compacted. 10. The course doesn't open until 8am!! I prefer to tee off before 7am. 11. I rented a push cart - cheapest cart ever. Maybe 30cm (1 foot) diameter narrow wheels which make it impossible to push through the sand. I hate pulling a cart... Plus the bag would fall off because there are no straps to hold it in place. 12. No beer carts on the course!!! I know, maybe I should have rated it lower...
