★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot stress how good this place is. Top-to-bottom, this is a great establishment to stay. Quiet, subtle, beautiful. Attentive staff that genuinely cares about your stay. Breakfast is top notch and we stayed for dinner and probably had our best meal in portugal. I recommend. You will love it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an absolutely perfect vacation! We visited in October 2019. The property is so well cared for, with beautifully kept grounds and happy animals on the farm. The hotel strikes the perfect balance: you have the ability to have a private vacation, but Ana is available at all times to provide assistance when you need it. She is warm, kind, thoughtful, and extremely hard working. She makes you feel at home the minute you arrive. We also want to note that the restaurant is top notch. The food at the hotel is superb. It is fresh, beautifully cooked, and absolutely delicious. We look forward to the next time we can visit. We recommend this hotel to everyone. If you are looking for a peaceful vacation in a beautiful location with exceptional service, this is where you want to stay!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely loved our stay in Valxisto House. The staff is so helpful and friendly and the house itself is gorgeous. There are small thoughtful details in every corner, the room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The view, and the quietness and the surroundings are all perfect. The internet was a bit unstable though but with such lovely outdoor areas it was not a big deal. Cannot wait to go back!
