★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely course, greens and fairways in great condition. Would be better if they didn't cram as many people on course. 5 1/2 hr round. Unfortunately, there were 5 balls on course which didn't help.

We have now played almost all the Pestana courses (just Alto left), so far this was by far the best, the course is both tight in places and quite long. The greens are small, but will accept a ball stopping. Some teeboxes were however in poor shape. The locker rooms were old and musty smelling, and as seems a common theme with Pestana staff, most were quite surly.
When travelling from Faro to / from the Western Algarve, a good course to choose as either the first or last round of any tour, being only 30 mins max from Faro airport, our flight landed at 11:00 AM, by 12:15, we were stood on the 1st tee waiting to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great course and good value if you play the twilight after 2 o'clock, for me about 4 is the perfect time to tee off, course is empty at the moment make the most of it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice course kept in good condition. Played it in early October. Buggies were available at 45 euro each and they were fine. Club house was OK, finished serving food after lunch which was a bit early. 9th green is close enough to stop for a drink half way through the round. No towels available for a shower after a round and there was a bit of a strange smell in the toilets/ showers. Staff in general were friendly and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This course provides 3 different nines with various degrees of difficulty. Fairways are decent and the right can be inconsistent for winter play. Bunkers are not consistent and need wirk and sand. Greens are decent and fairly good in condition and speed. Overall though a good challenge and modest in price.
